The purposes of our Society are:

• to support high-impact opportunities for Canada–Global South creative economy collaboration, with emphasis on Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Asia-Pacific region;

• to strengthen cross-border networks among diaspora community members, governments, philanthropic organizations, academic institutions, entrepreneurs, and businesses to
  co-design practical collaboration solutions;

• to generate and share actionable research and learning on creative-sector cooperation in the Global South, and to use evidence to improve partnership models and decision-making;

• to prototype, pilot, and scale Canada–Global South partnership initiatives that expand exchange and market access.
